About the Role

As a Senior Nurse (General) at a Barchester care home, you will take on a leadership role to ensure residents receive the high-quality care Barchester is known for. You will work with residents with diverse physical and mental health needs, providing clinical expertise and leadership.

Your key responsibilities include: ✔️ Conducting resident assessments and implementing safeguarding measures
✔️ Administering medications per NMC guidelines
✔️ Making clinical decisions using professional judgment
✔️ Supporting and mentoring your team to maintain high standards of nursing care

About You

To qualify for this role, you must: 📌 Be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC registration
📌 Hold a mentoring or supervision certification
📌 Have up-to-date knowledge of clinical techniques
📌 Have experience in treatment planning & risk assessments
📌 Understand regulatory frameworks (e.g., DoLs/MCA, Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines)
📌 Be an experienced clinical mentor, guiding new nurses through preceptorship
📌 Be a problem solver with a proven track record of improving care standards
