A pharmacy group in Southfields, London, is seeking an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead its community pharmacy operations. The role combines clinical pharmacy, team leadership, business development, and day-to-day branch management.

Salary: From £60,528 per year, depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Average hours: 48.5 hours per week

About the Role

The successful candidate will be a GPhC-registered pharmacist with strong leadership skills and a commercial mindset.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing NHS, private, and retail pharmacy services.
• Leading, motivating, and developing the pharmacy team.
• Managing staff rotas and day-to-day branch operations.
• Improving dispensing, clinical, and retail performance.
• Maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Building strong relationships with patients and customers.
• Identifying opportunities to grow pharmacy services and revenue.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.

Additional Opportunities

The role also offers potential opportunities for professional and business growth, including:

• 10% branch share of qualifying NHS and private services, with allocation between the Pharmacist Manager and team.
• Potential to become a Branch Business Partner with a profit share, subject to meeting the required business development, profitability, and performance criteria after at least three years.
• Support from an experienced pharmacy organisation with Skilled Worker sponsorship experience.

Working Hours

• Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Alternate Saturdays: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• One-hour unpaid break per working day
• Average: 48.5 hours per week

Essential Requirements

Applicants should have:

• Current GPhC registration.
• At least 2 years of post-registration experience.
• Vaccination training in England and experience delivering immunisation services.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• A commercially focused and entrepreneurial approach.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Commitment to company policies and SOPs.
• Confidence working with diverse teams and patient populations in London.
