Domiciliary Care Worker – UK Visa Sponsorship Available

A care provider is seeking a compassionate and committed Domiciliary Care Worker with a full UK driving licenceto provide high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes.

The role focuses on helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity, safety, and wellbeing while supporting them with everyday activities.

Visa sponsorship is available where required, subject to the employer’s eligibility and applicable UK immigration requirements.

Key Responsibilities

As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you may be responsible for:

• Supporting clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Assisting with medication in line with individual care plans.
• Preparing healthy meals according to clients’ dietary needs and preferences.
• Helping with light cleaning, laundry, and essential errands.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in clients’ health, behaviour, or wellbeing.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Helping reduce loneliness and social isolation.
• Transporting clients safely to appointments, errands, and social activities when required.
• Promoting independence, dignity, and a high quality of life.
• Following care plans, safety procedures, and professional standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or similar settings is preferred.

Applicants should ideally have:

• Knowledge or experience of dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
• Understanding of elderly care and behaviour management.
• First Aid and CPR training or certification is desirable.
• A full UK driving licence and clean driving record.
• The ability to safely assist clients with mobility and domestic tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, patient, and respectful approach.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work morning, evening, weekend, or overnight shifts when required.
