Domiciliary Care Worker – UK Visa Sponsorship Available

A care provider is seeking a dedicated Domiciliary Care Worker with a full UK driving licence to provide high-quality support to clients in their own homes.

The role focuses on helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity, safety, and overall wellbeing while providing reliable day-to-day support.

Visa sponsorship is available where required, subject to the employer’s eligibility and applicable UK immigration requirements.

Key Responsibilities

As a Domiciliary Care Worker, your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Assisting with medication in accordance with individual care plans.
• Preparing nutritious meals based on clients’ dietary needs and preferences.
• Helping with light housekeeping, laundry, and essential errands.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in clients’ health, behaviour, or wellbeing.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to help reduce loneliness and isolation.
• Safely transporting clients to appointments, social activities, and other necessary destinations.
• Promoting clients’ independence, dignity, and quality of life.
• Following established care plans and health and safety procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

Previous experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or similar settings is preferred.

Applicants should ideally have:

• Experience or knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
• Understanding of elderly care and behaviour management.
• First Aid and CPR training or certification is desirable.
• A full UK driving licence and clean driving record.
• The ability to assist clients safely with mobility and domestic tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, patient, and respectful approach.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a care team.
• Flexibility to work morning, evening, weekend, or overnight shifts when required.

Salary

Up to £27,000 per year
