Care Assistant – Sponsorship Switch

Care Outlook is recruiting Care Assistants to support elderly and vulnerable people in their own homes across the Bexhill region. This community-based role offers guaranteed contracted hours, competitive pay and a range of employee benefits.

Important Sponsorship Information

Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK to be considered for sponsorship.

Due to current Home Office rules restricting the recruitment of care workers from overseas, Care Outlook cannot sponsor applicants applying from outside the UK. However, candidates who are already living in the UK with valid immigration status may be considered for a Skilled Worker visa switch where they meet the relevant eligibility and transitional requirements.

All candidates will undergo right-to-work and immigration eligibility checks before an employment offer is confirmed.

What You’ll Do

As a Care Assistant, you will travel between clients’ homes to provide compassionate, person-centred care and support. Your responsibilities will include:

• Helping clients with personal care, including washing, dressing and using the toilet.
• Supporting clients with everyday activities.
• Carrying out light housekeeping duties.
• Observing clients and reporting any changes in their wellbeing.
• Keeping accurate care records and documentation.
• Building positive and respectful relationships with clients.

Successful Care Assistants can receive:

• £13.84–£15.97 per hour
• Increased pay for weekends and bank holidays

Requirements

You should be:

• Kind, patient, trustworthy and compassionate.
• Comfortable supporting vulnerable people in their homes.
• Able to work weekends on a rotating basis.
• A holder of a full UK driving licence.
• Able to access and use your own car for this community-based role.

Previous care experience is not essential, as successful applicants receive comprehensive training.

For applicants who do not drive, the company also offers an electric-bike programme to help eligible employees travel between clients.

• Hailsham and Eastbourne
• Hastings and Bexhill
• Uckfield
• Lewes
• Crowborough
• Heathfield
• Surrounding areas

Available Shifts

Typical shifts include:

• 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Weekend availability is required on a rotating basis, with schedules arranged in advance.

Important Note

This opportunity is particularly relevant to eligible candidates already living in the UK who may qualify to switch into the Skilled Worker route. Applicants outside the UK should not apply expecting overseas sponsorship.
