Area Manager – Papa John’s | Glasgow

Are you an experienced multi-site restaurant, QSR or hospitality manager ready for your next leadership challenge?

Papa John’s is seeking an ambitious Area Manager to oversee multiple stores across Glasgow. The role focuses on leading Store Managers, improving operational performance, driving sales and profitability, and developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day performance of multiple Papa John’s stores.
• Coach, support and develop Store Managers and their teams.
• Drive sales growth and improve store profitability.
• Monitor KPIs and turn performance data into practical action plans.
• Manage labour, food costs, stock, waste and other controllable expenses.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and compliance.
• Improve customer satisfaction, service times, product quality and order accuracy.
• Conduct regular store visits, inspections and operational audits.
• Support recruitment, training and development of future managers.
• Build a positive, energetic and performance-focused culture.
• Support local marketing and sales-building initiatives.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• Previous experience managing multiple QSR, restaurant, takeaway, delivery or hospitality locations.
• A proven track record of managing and developing Store Managers.
• Strong commercial and business management skills.
• Experience managing sales, labour costs, food expenses and profitability.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and communication skills.
• The ability to analyse KPIs and quickly identify areas for improvement.
• A strong customer-first approach and high operational standards.
• Confidence in making decisions, solving problems and holding teams accountable.
• Flexibility to work across different locations and schedules.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between stores.
• Experience with Papa John’s, Domino’s, Pizza Hut or similar QSR brands is an advantage.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000–£45,000 per year, depending on experience
• OTE bonus: Up to £10,000
• Car allowance
