Job Overview

A growing property-based company in the UK is seeking an organised, motivated, and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join its finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong attention to detail, and can ensure financial records and accounting processes are maintained accurately and efficiently.

The successful candidate will be expected to work proactively, manage their workload effectively, and ensure important financial information and reports are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

As an Accounts Assistant, your duties will include:

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting and financial records.
• Using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams as part of your daily responsibilities.
• Assisting with invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Carrying out regular account reconciliations and helping identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Supporting the preparation of financial information and ensuring reports are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Organising and maintaining financial records and supporting documentation.
• Working closely with the wider finance team on day-to-day accounting activities.
• Providing additional administrative support when required.
• Using MRI Software would be an advantage, although previous experience is not essential as training may be provided.
• Demonstrating a willingness to learn, develop new skills, and take on additional responsibilities as you progress in the role.

Salary

£26,000 – £30,000 per year
