Following the brand launch and the launch of the signature Tribal Collection last month, this month we celebrate the vibrant history and culture that shapes our beloved Nigeria.  Let us take a moment to reflect on an event that forever changed the course of our nation’s journey: the British annexation of Lagos on September 30, 1861.

This pivotal moment in our history marked the beginning of Lagos’ transformation from a coastal kingdom into one of Africa’s most dynamic and influential cities and indeed the Mega City it is today. While it signaled the start of British colonial rule, it also sparked the resilience, creativity, and strength that define Lagos and its people today.
