💼 Job Overview
A reputable care provider in the UK is currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants to support individuals in care homes and home care environments.
This role is ideal for Africans living in the UK (especially Nigerians on Dependent or Graduate Visas) who are passionate about caregiving, support work, and building a long-term career in the UK healthcare sector.
Full training will be provided for suitable candidates.
🧡 Key Responsibilities
- Supporting residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Assisting with mobility and safe transfers
- Helping with meals and feeding where required
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Administering medication (training provided)
- Keeping accurate care records and documentation
- Reporting changes in health or behaviour
- Supporting social and recreational activities
- Ensuring health & safety standards are followed at all times
📌 Requirements
- Care experience preferred but not compulsory (training provided)
- Good spoken and written English
- Basic IT skills for record keeping
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality
- Ability to work well in a team
- Must have UK right to work (Dependent Visa or Graduate Visa)
- UK driving licence is an advantage (for travel between care sites)
