Derby came alive over the weekend as family, friends, faith leaders, and distinguished guests gathered at the prestigious Grand River Suite to celebrate a remarkable woman, Mrs. Olusola Faro Adesina, as she marked her milestone 40th birthday in grand style.

One of the most touching moments of the evening came when Dr. Mejek delivered a heartfelt Oríkì, celebrating Sola’s Yoruba heritage, character, journey, and the values that have shaped her life.

The celebration also brought together prominent members of the community, including Dr. Sam Osinowo of Naija UK Connect and Mr. Olawale Olatunji of Tech Derby, who joined family and friends in honouring the celebrant.

With MC Dara Omowoli-Agba expertly guiding proceedings with his trademark wit and charisma, the atmosphere remained vibrant throughout the evening.
