Bristol

Bristol is the largest city in south-west England, and has for much of its history been considered one of the most prosperous urban areas in the UK. Bristol’s port has traditionally been the centre of its industrial activity, and it is still the tenth-largest in England today; however, in the 2020s, the city’s economy is based more around sectors such as defence, technology, financial services, creative industries, media and life sciences.
