Standard Chartered
UK Internship with Visa Sponsorship – Overview
Audit Internship Programme UK 2026 – UK Visa Sponsorship Available
About the GIA Team for Internal Audit (UK Internship with Visa Sponsorship)
The Group Internal Audit (GIA) is a separate part of the company that helps the Standard Chartered Board and Executive Management in Global Functions. GIA is the Bank’s third line of defence, and its main job is to protect the Group’s assets, reputation, and long-term viability.
It gives independent proof that the controls put in place by business management (the first line) and the risk frameworks and policies kept up by control owners (the second line) are working. GIA makes sure that governance, risk management, and internal controls are not just in place but also working well throughout the company by using strict audit methods and a dedication to honesty.
