What You’ll Do
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you’ll provide essential support to clients in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Preparing meals and supporting clients with eating where required
- Assisting with medication according to care plans
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Carrying out light housekeeping duties
- Monitoring clients’ wellbeing and reporting any concerns
- Supporting clients with appointments, shopping, and community outings
- Promoting independence while delivering person-centred care

Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Female applicants only (due to current client care requirements)
- Must currently live in or near Dorchester, Dorset
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to a reliable vehicle (or willingness to use a provided vehicle where applicable)
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
