Barista / Assistant Manager – UK Visa Sponsorship Available

A hospitality business is looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Barista/Assistant Manager to join its team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing quality drinks, providing excellent customer service, maintaining high hygiene standards and supporting the smooth running of daily operations.

Previous barista experience is preferred, while training may be available to help the right candidate develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea and speciality drinks.
• Take customer orders and respond to enquiries professionally.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders and other equipment safely.
• Maintain clean and hygienic workstations in line with food safety requirements.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately using the till system.
• Monitor and restock supplies when required.
• Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Assist with basic food preparation and light meal items.
• Support the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should have:

• A friendly, positive and reliable attitude.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good time-management and organisational skills.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and stock.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Barista experience: 2 years preferred
Assistant Manager experience: 1 year required

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £2,200 – £3,028.76 per month
