About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will work within a recovery-focused service that helps residents build confidence, regain independence, and move towards long-term stability.

You’ll provide person-centred support tailored to each individual’s needs while working as part of a compassionate and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide practical, person-centred support to residents.
• Help individuals achieve personal goals and greater independence.
• Support people experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, and substance misuse.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with service users.
• Encourage wellbeing, recovery, and social inclusion.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner organisations.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to support planning.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable people.
• Good understanding of the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness.
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and resilience.
• The ability to work in a person-centred and recovery-focused environment.

Personal experience of homelessness or previous experience supporting vulnerable individuals is welcomed but not essential.
