Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Azure .NET Developer / Azure Data Engineer to join a growing technology team.
You will work across application development, Azure cloud integration, data engineering, and enterprise systems. Your responsibilities will include developing cloud-native applications, building REST APIs, creating serverless solutions, and developing scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technology professional who wants to expand their experience across both Azure application development and modern data engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable REST APIs and backend services.
- Develop serverless applications and integrations using Azure Functions.
- Build cloud integrations using Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, and API Management.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
- Develop data processing solutions with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and SQL.
- Work with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and ADLS Gen2.
- Integrate applications and data across APIs, databases, and cloud services.
- Implement authentication and security using Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identity, Key Vault, OAuth, and JWT.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and application performance solutions with Application Insights and Azure Monitor.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, testers, and business stakeholders within an Agile environment.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have experience across Azure application development and data engineering.
Essential or Preferred Experience
- Strong experience with C# and .NET development.
- Experience developing REST APIs and backend services.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Knowledge of Azure integration and serverless technologies.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory and modern data pipelines.
- Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and SQL.
- Knowledge of Azure data platforms such as Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and ADLS Gen2.
- Understanding of cloud security and authentication technologies.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within an Agile software development environment.
Experience Requirements
- Azure / .NET Development: 3+ years preferred
- Data Engineering: 2+ years desirable
