Salary
- £34,434 per year, rising to £37,280 upon successful completion of the ASYE programme (pro rata for part-time).
- Retention payment of £1,500, increasing to £4,000 after completing the ASYE programme (pro rata for part-time).

About the Role
Suffolk County Council is seeking passionate and newly qualified Social Workers to join its Children and Young People’s Services team. Key Responsibilities
- Support children, young people, and families through high-quality social work practice.
- Assess needs and develop effective care and support plans.
- Safeguard vulnerable children and promote their wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies.
- Maintain accurate case records and professional documentation.
- Participate in regular supervision, training, and continuous professional development.

ASYE Support & Career Development

Requirements
- Recognised Social Work qualification.
- Registration with Social Work England.
