As the restaurant continues to grow, it is looking for a hands-on Restaurant Manager who can lead the team, maintain high service standards, and contribute to the continued success of the business.
The Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the daily Front of House operations while ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth restaurant performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day Front of House operations.
- Leading the team during busy service periods.
- Conducting pre-service briefings and assigning staff responsibilities.
- Preparing staff rotas and managing attendance.
- Recruiting, onboarding, training, and mentoring Front of House staff.
- Monitoring employee performance and providing regular feedback.
- Ensuring compliance with restaurant service standards and operating procedures.
- Managing reservations, large bookings, and customer requests.
- Resolving customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Supervising opening, closing, cash handling, and EPOS procedures.
- Managing beverage stock and supplier orders.
- Supporting the development of the restaurant’s drinks programme.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation.
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, food safety, and health & safety regulations.
- Reporting operational performance and staffing requirements to company directors.
- Identifying opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
This is a genuine management role requiring strong leadership and operational oversight rather than a standard Front of House position.
Requirements
Successful applicants should have:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or Senior Restaurant Supervisor.
- Experience working in a busy table-service restaurant.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Outstanding customer service and complaint-handling skills.
- Good knowledge of food, beverages, and restaurant operations.
- Experience using EPOS systems, reservation platforms, and cash management procedures.
- The flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Salary
£31,300 – £41,700 per year
(Depending on experience and immigration eligibility.)
