About the Role

As a Pharmacy Technician or Accuracy Checking Dispenser, you will play an important role in supporting pharmacists with the safe dispensing of medicines, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring compliance with professional and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense and accurately check prescriptions in line with legal and organisational guidelines.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and supplying medications.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, medicines, and patient information.
• Monitor pharmacy stock levels and reorder medicines when required.
• Support patients by providing guidance on medication use and possible side effects.
• Ensure the pharmacy complies with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and confidentiality.
• Assist in training and supporting new members of the pharmacy team.

Skills and Requirements

Applicants should have:

• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician, Accuracy Checking Dispenser, or Pharmacy Dispenser.
• A good understanding of medicines, dispensing procedures, and patient care.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of pharmacy health and safety regulations.
• Flexibility to work efficiently in a busy pharmacy environment.
