Job Title

Packing Operative – Laboratory Shipping Team

This is a hands-on morning shift role suitable for individuals who enjoy structured work environments, routine tasks and teamwork.

The position is ideal for:

Working Hours

🕗 Monday to Friday
⏰ 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Salary

💷 £13 per hour

Main Responsibilities

As a Packing Operative, your duties will include:

• Packing laboratory samples and boxes according to company procedures and IATA regulations

• Checking sample information and shipment documents accurately

• Participating in daily shipping briefings

• Scanning and sending shipment documents to team members

• Monitoring dry ice storage and usage

• Keeping the work environment clean, safe and organized

• Refilling packing materials and consumables

• Supporting other operational tasks assigned by the line manager

Requirements

Essential Requirements

Applicants should have:

• Basic Microsoft Office skills

• Good English communication and numeracy skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to follow procedures accurately

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

The following will be an advantage:

• Previous warehouse or laboratory experience

• IATA qualification
