Job Summary
We are seeking a caring and dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our vibrant early years team.
In this role, you will support the learning, development, and wellbeing of young children by assisting with daily activities, creating engaging learning experiences, and helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Support nursery practitioners in delivering fun, age-appropriate learning and play activities.
- Assist with daily childcare routines, including meals, nap times, and personal care.
- Supervise children to ensure their safety, wellbeing, and development.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Help maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating nursery environment.
- Provide additional support to children with special educational needs where appropriate.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development in childcare, safeguarding, and health and safety.
Skills & Requirements
- Previous experience in childcare or an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, caring, and able to build positive relationships with children and families.
- Ability to adapt to the varying needs of children in a busy nursery environment.
- Knowledge or experience of supporting children with additional needs is an advantage.
