Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality maternity and newborn photographs while providing clients with a relaxed, professional, and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct professional maternity and newborn photoshoots in a warm and comfortable environment.
• Capture high-quality images that highlight emotion, personality, and family connections.
• Edit and retouch photographs using professional software such as Adobe Photoshop and Capture One.
• Manage post-production workflows to maintain consistent image quality and visual style.
• Communicate with clients to understand their preferences, creative ideas, and specific photography requirements.
• Maintain organised digital archives of completed photoshoots for easy access and delivery.
• Use social media to promote photography work, showcase portfolios, and engage with potential clients.
• Contribute to behind-the-scenes or promotional video content where required.

Skills and Experience

Applicants should have:

• Strong photography skills, particularly in maternity, newborn, or family photography.
• Excellent knowledge of composition, lighting, posing, and photography techniques.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for photo editing and retouching.
• Experience with Capture One for colour grading and RAW image processing.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro for video editing is an advantage.
• A strong eye for detail, emotion, and visual storytelling.
• Experience using social media tools to promote creative work and build an online presence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work professionally and sensitively with clients and their families.
