Home Care Assistant – Visa Sponsorship Available

About the Role
As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care tailored to each client’s individual needs. You will support people with everyday activities, encourage independence, and help them remain safe and comfortable in their own homes.
You will work independently while remaining part of a supportive care team committed to delivering exceptional standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Assisting clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Supporting mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety.
- Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when required.
- Administering medication in accordance with individual care plans and company procedures.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy home.
- Keeping accurate care records and updating documentation as required.
- Communicating effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
- Driving to clients’ homes using company vehicles where required.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A valid driving licence with safe driving experience.
- Previous experience in home care or a residential care setting (preferred but not essential).
- The ability to follow individual care plans accurately.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining care records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts where required.
