As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll build meaningful relationships with clients by providing consistent support and becoming a trusted part of their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties may include:
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Supporting clients with safe mobility and independent living
- Assisting or prompting medication according to care plans
- Preparing meals based on dietary requirements
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Accompanying clients on shopping trips, appointments, and community visits
- Monitoring clients’ wellbeing and reporting any concerns
- Recording care notes using digital care planning systems
- Carrying out light household duties, including laundry and cleaning
- Following safeguarding procedures and health & safety guidelines
- Maintaining confidentiality and delivering high-quality person-centred care

Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Care Certificate (all 15 standards)
- Safeguarding Level 2
- Basic First Aid training
- Oliver McGowan Training
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Access to a personal vehicle
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassionate and caring attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Emotional resilience and professionalism
Working Hours
Flexible working patterns are available, including:
- Full-time
