Plaza Services Limited (PSL), a registered CQC home care provider in the UK, is currently recruiting Health Care Assistants under the Skilled Worker visa route for 2026.
This is a rewarding opportunity to build a stable career in the UK while supporting vulnerable individuals in their homes and communities.
About the Role
As a Health Care Assistant, you will provide essential daily support to adults, elderly individuals, and those with medical or physical care needs. Work settings include home care, live-in care, and community support across the Midlands region.
PSL provides full training, making this role suitable for both experienced carers and newcomers to the UK care sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients with personal care (washing, bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Assist with medication in line with care plans
- Prepare meals and support nutrition and hydration needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping, shopping, and errands
- Support individuals with dementia, disabilities, and end-of-life care
- Escort clients to hospital appointments and community activities
- Maintain accurate care records and report changes in condition
- Deliver live-in care where required (24/7 support during placements)
Who Can Apply
Essential Requirements:
- Compassionate, patient, and caring personality
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to work flexible shifts (nights, weekends, bank holidays)
- Valid UK driving licence and access to a car (preferred)
- Right to work in the UK or eligibility for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship
- Willingness to undergo DBS background check
Desirable (Not Mandatory):
- Experience in care work or healthcare support
- NVQ Level 2/3 or Care Certificate
- Experience with dementia or complex care
- Knowledge of safeguarding and person-centred care
