About the Role
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will provide essential support to vulnerable individuals in the comfort of their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Care Support
- Assisting with personal hygiene and daily care needs.
- Supporting clients with dressing and grooming.
Social Support
- Encouraging social interaction and companionship.
- Helping service users participate in activities and community life.
Meal Preparation
- Preparing light meals and drinks.
- Assisting with feeding where required.
Daily Living Assistance
- Supporting clients with everyday activities.
- Helping individuals remain independent in their homes.
Promoting Wellbeing
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Encouraging confidence and independence.
Essential Requirements
Applicants should have:
- The right to work in the UK.
- Good written and spoken English.
- A caring, compassionate, and reliable personality.
- Flexibility to work different shifts.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Access to a vehicle with valid insurance.
- Previous care experience (minimum one year recommended).
Sponsorship Information
Important: Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) is not available immediately.
However, the company may consider visa sponsorship after three months for competent and successful employees who meet the eligibility requirements and where there is a business need.
