Senior Care Assistant – Visa Sponsorship Available

Select Care Services Ltd is a well-established domiciliary care provider based in Leicester (LE5 4LE) and is currently recruiting an experienced Female Senior Care Assistant to join its expanding team.

The company has two Skilled Worker visa sponsorship positions available for suitable candidates.

Important Eligibility Requirements

Before applying, please note that applicants must:

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Have access to a car and be willing to obtain business insurance for home-to-home travel.
• Currently live within Leicester postcode areas LE1, LE2, LE4, or LE5.
• Be fluent in English and able to speak at least one of the following languages:
  • Gujarati
  • Hindi
  • Urdu
  • Punjabi

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position designed for experienced care professionals. The role is not suitable for part-time work or temporary/vacation employment.

Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant, particularly in domiciliary (home care) services, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will:

• Deliver high-quality domiciliary care services.
• Conduct care visits, spot checks, and staff supervisions.
• Complete client assessments, reviews, and risk assessments.
• Carry out medication competency checks.
• Assist with setting up new care packages.
• Support the management team with administrative duties.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Candidate Requirements

Successful applicants should have:

• Experience in domiciliary care.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to motivate and support care staff.
• Experience using rostering and care planning software.
• Good Microsoft Office and email skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
