Role Summary

Solace Prime Care Ltd is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Assistants (Drivers). In this role, you will provide vital, personalized support to clients within the comfort of their own homes—enabling them to maintain independence, safety, and dignity. You will make a critical contribution to improving their quality of life, ensuring choice and respect at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Home Visits: Travel to clients’ homes to deliver high-quality, person-centered care according to agreed care plans.

• Daily Living Support: Assist with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.

• Medication Management: Support and administer medication in line with company policy and training.

• Companionship: Provide emotional support and foster a warm, positive, and reassuring environment.

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, real-time records of visits using our electronic care logging system.

• Mobility & Transport: Support clients with mobility challenges, including driving them to appointments or community social events.

• Specialized Care: Provide additional support where required, including dementia care, complex needs, or end-of-life care.

• Light Housekeeping: Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment for clients.

Job Requirements

• Driving Licence (Mandatory): Must possess a Full UK driving licence or a valid foreign driving licence with access to a reliable vehicle. (Note: This is an on-the-road role requiring 100% travel).

• Experience: 1 year of experience in home care is highly recommended, but not mandatory. Full paid training will be provided.

• Language Proficiency: Good written and spoken English. For overseas applicants, an IELTS UKVI B1 (or equivalent) is required.

• Tech Savvy: Basic IT skills to navigate electronic health care records via smartphone apps.

• Flexibility: Availability to work a flexible rota, including evening shifts and weekends.

• Background Check: An Enhanced DBS check is required (the company will guide and assist you through this process).
