About the Role
In Faith Care Ltd is looking for caring, reliable and proactive Care Assistants to join its community care team in Cambridge.
The successful candidates will provide compassionate, person-centred care to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.

Key Requirements
Applicants should:
- Hold a valid driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle, as travel between clients’ homes is required.
- Have good spoken and written English.
- Be caring, respectful, empathetic and supportive.
- Be comfortable using basic technology such as tablets and computers to record care activities.
- Be able to follow individual care plans and instructions accurately.
- Be reliable, responsible and capable of working independently.
- Be flexible and available for morning, evening and weekend shifts.
- Have previous home-care or care-home experience where possible. Experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided to suitable candidates.
Main Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, your duties may include:
- Providing person-centred personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing and mobility.
- Providing medication reminders in accordance with care plans and instructions.
- Supporting clients with meal preparation, light household tasks and errands.
- Following individual care plans and providing support according to clients’ needs.
- Communicating respectfully with clients, their families and other care professionals.
- Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support.
- Recording care activities, observations and relevant information using tablets or computers.
- Travelling safely and reliably between clients’ homes.
- Following health, safety, safeguarding and care procedures.
- Respecting each client’s privacy, dignity, choices and independence.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and relevant healthcare professionals.

Salary & Experience
Salary: £12.71–£18.67 per hour
Experience: Home care experience of 1 year is recommended but not essential.
