Business Support Manager – UK Visa Sponsorship
A growing business group is seeking a highly organised, proactive and commercially minded Business Support Manager to work closely with the Director across four businesses.
This is more than a traditional administrative role. The successful candidate will play a key part in coordinating operations, managing priorities, supporting financial administration and ensuring important tasks, meetings and deadlines are followed through.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support
- Manage the Director’s diary, calendar and appointments.
- Organise meetings and prepare agendas and supporting documents.
- Take accurate meeting minutes and create action lists.
- Track deadlines, commitments and outstanding tasks.
- Coordinate communication between the Director and internal and external contacts.
- Prepare regular updates and briefings for the Director.
Financial Administration
- Track invoices, payments and outstanding balances.
- Assist with cash-flow monitoring and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts and business expenses.
- Liaise with accountants and external financial consultants.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Highlight overdue payments or unusual transactions.
Business Operations
- Monitor the progress of multiple businesses and projects.
- Maintain business systems, trackers and task lists.
- Coordinate between departments, staff and contractors.
- Support recruitment and onboarding.
- Follow up on outstanding work and ensure deadlines are met.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and procedures.
Meetings & Reporting
- Attend selected management meetings.
- Produce clear and professional minutes.
- Turn meeting discussions into practical action points.
- Assign responsibilities and monitor completion.
- Prepare weekly progress reports for the Director.
- Assist with monitoring key performance indicators.
