About Elizabeth Homes

Job Responsibilities
As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will help residents stay socially active, emotionally engaged, and mentally stimulated through meaningful daily activities.
Your duties include:
- Planning and organising weekly activity schedules
- Delivering one-to-one and group activities for residents
- Coordinating music therapy, arts and crafts, games, quizzes, gardening, and exercise sessions
- Supporting dementia-friendly activities and reminiscence sessions
- Organising local outings and trips using the home’s minibus
- Working closely with carers and healthcare teams
- Building relationships with families, volunteers, schools, and community groups
- Keeping activity records and preparing reports
- Supporting resident wellbeing during quieter periods of the day

Essential Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Experience working in care homes, community work, education, hospitality, or social support
- Good communication and English language skills

- At least 1 year of UK-based care home experience
Preferred Qualifications
Having any of the following will improve your chances:
- NVQ Level 2 or above in Health & Social Care

- Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
- Experience planning community outings and events
