About the Role:

Ninja Theory, part of Xbox Game Studios, is seeking a Junior to Mid-level IT Technician to join their in-house IT team based in Cambridge, UK. Your Role:
As an IT Technician at Ninja Theory, you will play a vital role in providing first-line support in a hybrid work environment. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, offering assistance to the development team, and maintaining IT infrastructure across the Cambridge studio.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-line helpdesk support in a Windows environment.
Manage and resolve Tier 1 IT support tickets.
Deploy and maintain PC hardware and software for new hires and existing employees.
Maintain studio desktop environment, including PCs, printers, development devices, and AV equipment.
Support the IT team with networking, storage, and cloud infrastructure projects.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential Skills:

Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving PC hardware and software issues.
Solid understanding of PC hardware, including assembly and debugging.
Experience with Windows 10/11 setup, support, and installation.
Knowledge of networking basics (LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
Strong customer service focus and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills:

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
Exposure to Azure cloud services (Intune, Entra).
Experience with IT service management tools like Confluence and Atlassian Jira.
Knowledge of AV technologies (conference room setups, streaming).

Experience:

Previous experience in an IT support role, especially within hybrid or on-premises Windows environments.
Experience in Tier 1 helpdesk support is a plus.
