Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join our busy dermatology department. The Cancer Care Coordinator serves as a central point of contact for patients on a suspected cancer pathway, ensuring their care is well-coordinated and tailored to meet their needs.
📌 Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Support patients throughout their cancer diagnosis journey
✔️ Work closely with the cancer care team and other health and social care providers
✔️ Ensure timely scheduling of diagnostic tests and procedures
✔️ Identify and address any delays in the patient pathway
✔️ Improve overall patient experience through efficient coordination
📌 Requirements:
✅ At least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting as a Healthcare Assistant, Therapy Assistant, or similar role
✅ Current statutory mandatory training
✅ Experience in dermatology (preferred)
✅ Strong IT and communication skills
✅ Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
✅ GCSE or equivalent qualification in English & Maths (Grade C or above)
