- Position: Homecare Support Worker
- Salary: £26,530 to £29,114 a year
- Type: Full-Time
- Location: Belper, Derbyshire, UK
About the Role
The Community Response Team provides temporary and interim care to patients discharged from acute hospitals. The role includes:
- Delivering care to patients at home.
- Supporting rehabilitation plans as directed by nurses and therapists.
- Supervising and coordinating Support Workers to ensure timely care delivery.
- Working flexible shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
Requirements:
- Previous care experience.
- NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent experience.
- Valid UK driver’s license and access to a car.
- Strong manual handling and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily activities of Support Workers.
- Ensure patients receive effective and timely care.
- Serve as a role model for clinical skills and professionalism.
- Assist with patient rehabilitation under the supervision of nurses and therapists.
