About the Role

Hamill Homecare is looking for caring, reliable and dedicated Care Assistants to join its rural care team across Killearn, Balfron, Drymen and surrounding areas.

The role involves supporting people in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life. You will provide practical assistance, personal care and companionship while building positive relationships with clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and support in clients’ homes
• Assist clients with daily activities and promote independent living
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Respond to clients’ changing needs
• Promote clients’ wellbeing, dignity and safety
• Follow relevant national care standards and procedures
• Communicate effectively with clients, families and colleagues
• Work as part of a professional and supportive care team

Requirements

• Previous care experience is required
• Full UK driving licence
• Access to and use of your own vehicle for work
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, trustworthy and discreet
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of professional care standards
• Right to work in the UK
• Visa sponsorship is available for suitable candidates
