International Volunteering with Visa Sponsorship
Volunteering has been an important part of Glencraig’s work for many years. Since the 1960s, the organisation has welcomed international volunteers, with many staying for a year or longer to support people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
This opportunity may be suitable for international volunteers and students looking to gain valuable experience in the UK while contributing to meaningful community and social-care projects.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers and students can support Glencraig in several areas, including:
- Residential Services: Supporting people with learning disabilities in a residential setting.
- School Placements: Assisting children with learning disabilities and complex needs in educational environments.
- Training College: Supporting daytime activities for people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Environmental & Gardening Projects: Taking part in practical outdoor and community projects.
International Volunteer Opportunities
International volunteers are generally based within Glencraig’s residential services, although opportunities may sometimes be available in other areas depending on organisational needs.
International students may also be considered for placements related to their course of study, subject to availability.
UK Charity Worker Visa Sponsorship
