The University of Derby was buzzing with colour, culture, and community spirit on December 9th, 2025, as students and visitors gathered for GLOBAL VILLAGE: A Celebration of Nationality and Culture. This annual event—Voice Powered By Us—continues to champion cultural diversity and spotlight the vibrant identities that make up the university community.
This year’s edition stood out for Nigerians in the UK, thanks to the stunning art exhibition curated by Red19 Global in partnership with the Nigerian Student Society (NSS) and powered by the Union of Students. The exhibition offered a beautifully curated platform for Nigerian and African artists to shine.
