This scheme, run by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC), supports postgraduate students from developing and middle-income Commonwealth countries. The scholarship covers full tuition, flights, and living allowance – making it possible for talented students who cannot otherwise afford UK education to study here.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of Nigeria or another eligible Commonwealth country (or hold refugee status in one).
- Be ready to start studies in the UK by September 2025.
- Hold at least a 2:1 undergraduate degree (or a 2:2 plus a relevant postgraduate degree).
- Show financial need, proving they cannot afford UK studies without the scholarship.
- Not have studied or worked for more than one academic year in a high-income country.
