JUSTH Ltd provides supported living services for young people aged 16-21 and transitional services up to age 25. They offer personalized support, including floating support, 24-hour onsite staff, and stable short-term and long-term housing.
Job Details
- Job Title: Health Care Assistant & Senior Health Care Assistant
- Salary: From £12 per hour
- Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
- Location: North West England
Role & Responsibilities
Health Care Assistant (HCA)
- Provide personal care and support in assisted living facilities or homes.
- Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility).
- Support with medication administration under supervision.
- Engage in social activities to enhance client well-being.
- Monitor and report health changes.
- Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- No prior experience required, but at least 1 year in a care role is preferred.
- Compassionate and patient nature.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- UK work authorization (Visa sponsorship available).
- A UK driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
Senior Health Care Assistant (SHCA)
- Lead and support a team of healthcare assistants.
- Assist in care planning and ensure adherence.
- Perform clinical duties (including medication administration, subject to training).
- Train and mentor junior staff.
- Communicate client needs with families and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with legal and company regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in health and social care.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it) is preferred.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- UK work authorization (Visa sponsorship available).
- A UK driving license is preferred but not required.
