- Hourly Pay: Up to £12.00 per hour
- Job Type: Part-time & Full-time (20-37.5 hours per week)
- Availability: Immediate start
- Shifts: Monday to Friday, night shifts, and weekend availability
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as dressing, grooming, and bathing in their homes.
- Support mobility and transfers while ensuring safety and comfort.
- Help with feeding and meal preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Administer medications as per prescribed guidelines and provide reminders.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health conditions.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and shopping.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance client well-being.
- Maintain detailed and accurate care records.
- Identify and address potential home hazards to ensure a safe environment.
- Encourage independence and dignity, respecting privacy and personal choices.
- Work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and other caregivers to coordinate care.
- Follow company policies, health and safety regulations, and confidentiality guidelines.
Requirements
- Experience: At least one year of in-home care experience.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required.
- Driving License: Applicants must have a valid UK driver’s license and access to a car.
- Willingness to travel: 100% travel within the assigned work area.
- Ability to commute or relocate to Barnstaple EX32 before starting work.
