Job Overview

As a Care Worker, your role is to support clients in their daily lives, ensuring their dignity, well-being, and independence. Most of the time, you will work independently or alongside clients in their homes, providing compassionate and professional care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable, and person-centred care.
• Support clients with daily activities such as:
  • Personal care (toileting, bathing, grooming, dressing, continence care)
  • Medication assistance (ordering, collecting, and disposing of medication safely)
  • Meal planning and preparation, ensuring good nutrition and hygiene
  • Household tasks (cleaning, laundry, changing bed linens, maintaining a tidy space)
  • Mobility support using aids such as hoists, wheelchairs, walking frames
  • Social engagement, hobbies, and mental stimulation
  • Supporting clients with hospital stays, end-of-life care, and liaising with healthcare professionals

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of care provided and medications administered.
• Report any health changes, safety concerns, or faulty equipment.
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

✅ Ability to commute or relocate to Lewisham, SE13.
✅ English proficiency.
✅ Willingness to travel (25% recommended).
✅ Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
