Job Overview
St. Michael’s Hospital in Hayle is looking for a Therapy Technician to join the inpatient therapy team. If you have experience in occupational therapy or physiotherapy within an acute setting, we want to hear from you!
🔹 Part-time role (3 days a week: Wednesday–Friday preferred)
🔹 Weekend shifts included (with time off in exchange)
🔹 Work areas include: Pre-admission clinic, inpatient wards (orthopaedic cases), and pre-operative Joint Schools
🔹 Occasional house visits may be required
Requirements
✅ NVQ Level 3 in Health Care
✅ Experience in a therapeutic setting
✅ Ability to work independently and within a team
✅ Strong time management and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities
- Assist therapists in patient assessments, treatment, and therapy services.
- Manage a caseload of referred patients and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Conduct patient assessments using investigative and analytical skills.
- Report progress and any concerns to the therapist while working independently.
