Job Description – Community Care Assistant

If you’re already on a Domiciliary Care Agency sponsorship but aren’t receiving the necessary hours, we’d love to hear from you!
You’ll be guaranteed full-time hours as a care professional with Home Instead. Flexibility in your work schedule is key, with availability to work evenings and weekends.
Your duties will include:
- Providing personal care
- Administering prescription medications
- Assisting with daily tasks
- Offering home help activities
- Being a friendly companion to clients
- Preparing meals and monitoring clients’ diets
- Assisting with appointments
- Ensuring clients can live independently in their own homes
As a Home Instead care assistant, you’ll be someone with a kind heart who is passionate about improving the lives of older individuals. Your support will be personalized and based on strong, meaningful connections with clients, tailored to their unique needs and experiences.
Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates with at least one year of care experience, whether in a hospital, assisted living facility, or domiciliary care setting.
Requirements:
- You must already be in the UK and on sponsorship to apply
- A car and driver’s license are a plus
- Friendly, empathetic, and customer-oriented individuals with strong people skills
- A genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others
