Role Overview: Care Workers assist vulnerable individuals in their own homes or assisted living facilities. This includes supporting those with mental health issues, learning disabilities, elderly populations, or injuries, ensuring their needs are met and promoting positive progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in enhancing their mental, physical, emotional, and social well-being in a supportive environment.
- Help prepare meals, serve food, and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Encourage participation in leisure and social activities.
- Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including changing bed linens and general tidying.
