The BRIT Awards 2025 has announced British-Nigerian multi-disciplinary artist Gabriel Moses as the designer for the 2025 trophy. Moses, known for collaborations with global icons like Skepta, Little Simz, Burberry, and more, joins an elite group of past designers, including Dame Vivienne Westwood, Zaha Hadid, and Sir Peter Blake.
The design of this year’s trophy was inspired by Moses’ childhood and Nigerian heritage. Drawing from sculptures his mother displayed at home, Moses focused on creating a design with distinctive textures that reflect both history and his personal experiences.
In his statement, Moses expressed his honor at being included in the same company as some of the greatest artists: “To now have both Slawn, and this year also myself, in the same group as people that informed our/mine visual approach, puts lots of things in perspective and it is an amazing achievement across the board.”
Moses, whose work blends art, culture, and identity, is deeply rooted in his Nigerian heritage. His creative journey began in South London and he has since collaborated with names like Pharrell, Travis Scott, Burberry, Dior, and Louis Vuitton. His works have been featured in major publications such as Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.
As for his favorite BRITs moments, Moses recalled the iconic 2015 BRITs when Kanye West brought Skepta, Stormzy, and others on stage – a powerful moment for both UK music and culture.
