Care Professional – UK Visa Sponsorship Available

Location: Taunton & surrounding villages
Pay: £13.30–£14.10 per hour + mileage
Employment: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

As a Care Professional, you will support clients in their own homes and help them maintain their independence, comfort and wellbeing.

Duties include:

• Assisting with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Supporting clients with medication and mobility.
• Preparing drinks, snacks and light meals.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Recording care notes after visits.
• Accompanying clients to appointments and community activities.
• Helping clients feel safe, comfortable and supported at home.

Candidate Requirements

Essential

• At least 2 years of relevant care experience.
• Valid Category B UK driving licence, as the role involves travelling between clients, including areas with limited public transport.
• Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
• Good English and IT literacy.
• Reliable and responsible approach to work.

Desirable

• A genuine passion for helping others.
• Resilience and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care.
